Our Supporters

A garden built by the community.

None of this happens without people who care. We are so grateful for the friends, neighbors, and local businesses who have shown up for this garden from the very beginning.

With Gratitude

Thank you, from the bottom of the garden.

A community garden doesn't spring up from nothing. It takes people willing to donate their time, their tools, their money, and sometimes just their enthusiasm. Every bag of soil donated, every board cut and laid for a raised bed, every check written and every hand offered -- it adds up to something real.

Hoosick Community Garden is what it is because of the people in this town who decided it was worth making happen. That means more than we can say.

Community Partners

Organizations that make it happen.

These local organizations have provided land, water, seeds, space, and support from the beginning. This garden is rooted in the community - and these are the roots.

Village of Hoosick Falls DPW

Water and support

The Department of Public Works has kept the garden hydrated and supported from the start. We couldn't grow without them.

Town of Hoosick Board

Land use, storage, and continued support

The Town Board provided the land we grow on, shed and barn storage, and ongoing support that makes the whole operation possible.

Cheney Library

Seed library and meeting space

Cheney Library hosts the community seed library and has provided meeting space for the garden board. Even donated a black locust tree that became part of the garden fence.

American Legion Post 40

Event space

Post 40 has opened their space for garden events and community gatherings. We are grateful for their generosity and their commitment to this community.

Bentley Seeds

Seed donations

Bentley Seeds has kept the seed library stocked with quality varieties. Their generosity puts seeds in the hands of everyone who needs them.

Elhannons

Stone fruit trees and vegetables

Elhannons donated stone fruit trees and vegetables that are now growing strong in the Hoosick Community Garden orchard.

Berle Farms

Apple trees and vegetables

Berle Farms donated apple trees and vegetables that make up a big part of the garden orchard. Their support is literally bearing fruit.

Community Champions

The neighbors who showed up.

These are the friends and community members who have gone above and beyond for this garden. We are so glad they're part of this.

Jasen VonGuinness

Unihog

Jasen and the team at Unihog have been great friends to this garden. Their support has helped us do more than we could have on our own.

MaryJo Charron

Community Porch

MaryJo and Community Porch share the same spirit as this garden: taking care of neighbors, no strings attached. We are lucky to have her in our corner.

The Tinkham Family

Community supporters

The Tinkhams have shown up for this garden with the kind of quiet generosity that makes a real difference. We are thankful for them.
