Support the Garden
Every little bit goes back into the ground.
This garden runs on the generosity of people who believe in what's happening here. Whether you give money, tools, or a bag of seeds -- you're part of what makes it work.
How to Give
Your donation goes directly to the garden.
Hoosick Community Garden is a community organization working toward official 501(c)(3) nonprofit status -- and every cent donated stays in this community. We use donations to buy seeds for the free library, maintain the garden beds, run community events, and keep the whole thing going season after season.
We're not a big organization with overhead and administrative costs. It's mostly Kaila, a crew of volunteers, and a lot of people who just want to grow something good.
If you'd like to support the garden, use the link below. It takes two minutes and it makes a real difference.
We are in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Check back soon for updates.

Take What You Need
Free for the taking.
Sometimes generous community members drop off extra fruits, vegetables, plants, or garden supplies that the garden doesn't need. Rather than let good things go to waste, we set them out for anyone in the community to take. Stop by often to see what's available. If you have something to share, bring it by. That's what neighbors are for.
